Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial - 60 second video
Hello guys, I am Ananya and I will be talking about the famous Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial that started on April 12th. Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for $50 million as she destroyed his career when she accused him of ‘domestic violence’. She countersued him for $100 million over his claim that her allegations are a hoax and that she is a ‘fake’. Heard stated that their relationship was a toxic one and to prove that she shared a few incidents, one of them being, Depp cutting off his own finger and blaming Heard by saying that he did this because of her! She also claimed that Depp sexually assaulted her with a liquor bottle but when asked to prove herself, she cried and whispered “I can’t believe I have to do this.” On the other hand, Depp states that Heard was the one who used to abuse him. To prove this he played audio in court in which Amber admitted that she did hit him. Entertainment lawyer Mitra, who has watched every minute of the proceedings says, “Neither side is going to win as they are here for public support only.” Now, the trial is on a break and will resume on May 16th as it is of 6 weeks long.
